Status/Results
During 2023 & 2004, the following actions were carried out
Within the framework of the 1st Work Unit, coordinated by the University of Patras, the following actions have been carried out:
The University of Patras, in collaboration with the Agricultural Cooperatives, has determined the Operational Requirements of Farms for smart organic olive farms
The Design and Implementation of State-of-the-art Technologies in cooperative farms is in the final stage
The creation of an Integrated System of Practices is in progress, aiming at the rational treatment of insect (mainly fly) & fungal (mainly Glyosspore) infestation, as well as the implementation of proper and balanced nutrition & irrigation

Within the framework of the 2nd Work Unit, coordinated by Harokopio University, the following actions have been carried out:
Harokopio University, in collaboration with the company of Kousoula Maria and the Association of Post-High Education & Training of American Farm School, is in progress the design in the laboratory of the University, in combination with tests in the olive processing company Kousoula Maria, innovative olive foods. At the same time, chemical analyses & evaluation of their nutritional value are carried out by the American Farm School and organoleptic evaluation of products.
Within the framework of the 3rd Work Unit, coordinated by the University of Patras, the following actions have been carried out:
From the University of Patras, in collaboration with the Agricultural Cooperatives and the olive processing company Kousoula Maria, the Design of Traceability Procedures has been completed and the Development of Traceability Procedures is in progress
Regular meetings of the working groups were held to coordinate the implementation of the project
